I don’t know if you will see this reply, but your little niece just got one of the most valuable lessons she will ever receive, about anything, in her entire life. The lesson was perfect, and a blessing from the Gods. She is the perfect age to be whole enough to trust her own healthy natural instincts, and old enough to express herself. Thank you for the kind words. Her mother was also glad I handled it in the way I did. Usually I don’t have a filter or hesitation about looking right at one of those demons and letting loose. It was an exercise in self control that doesn’t come natural to me.
