It’s absolutely true that the military has always relied on southern whites to fill its ranks. I didn’t get any feeling that this ad was directed at or pandering to them however. The message I picked up on was “there’s no future for you in America white man, but in the army you can still seek adventure and destiny”. Maybe I’m just cynical.

US military industrial complex charges $10 for a bolt while the Russian military industrial complex charges $1 for one of the same quality. The Russian government has a controlling interest in all defense contractors and all strategic infrastructure.
