I would argue that capitalism is not more efficient. Look up planned obsolescences. Probably the single most wasteful phenomena in economics and it’s the back bone of our economy. Corporations destroy billions and billions of dollars worth of perfectly fine goods annually. This is done because it keeps supply low, as opposed to donating the goods and so on. During covid American dairy Farmers dumped 3 million gallons of milk every single day to keep the prices artificially high. Heres an idea I’ve come up with. Russian general winter is not really a thing in modern warfare. The winter of 1941 was exceptional because #1 it was the worst winter in recorded history and #2 the German logistics failed to order winter gear in time and #3 1930s engines were not as reliable in the cold. It’s not like 1812 when it all came down to foraging for supplies that didn’t exist after a scorched earth policy.
I would say that all Capitalists should be eliminated because their only purpose is to own everything and absorb profits. All Capital should be owned by the workers. Farm land should be owned by those who farm it, factories should be owned by the factory workers. All profits should go into the workers. Moreover, all services should be public services. I’ve been looking on libsyn, The Internet Archive, and anywhere on the net for what the release dates were for The Third Rail episodes that were put out prior to October of 2020, as well as the release dates for the FTN episodes that were published prior to July 2017, but I can’t find the information.
