Scrubbing works fine man. At least on desktop. Unless phones are messing things up in someway. I don’t see why you can’t just tap random parts of the timeline in the player and it starting the video from there.

You can’t scrub video on cellular data on lots of video providers that aren’t YouTube. It’s a known problem but it’s not really fixable for moike
I usually need to either full screen it or on Android 13, minimize, swipe down for settings and such and click the currently playing/paused tds (not the play/pause) which brings up yet another special UI thing from which I can scrub.
