Speaking of dental offices, I went to one once where they had cut out images of tropical beaches from some National Geographic magazine and taped them on the ceiling for the patients to look at while getting dental work done. It was so hilariously low effort that the pages were wrinkled and creased.

I only check the site. Based on how terrible and psyopped telegram sounded, I took the death panel’s advice and stayed away from it for my own sanity.
It would be nice to have updates/cancelations posted here, but I can totally understand that’s not really an option when the site itself goes down.

The one apparently true narrative about the Vietnam war is that the US government and military believed in the domino theory.
That seems to have some merit because communism spread quickly not just to South Vietnam but also to Laos and Cambodia when the US withdrew from Vietnam, and no Southeast Asian countries had fallen under the influence of communism while the conflict in Vietnam was going on.
(((They))) probably simply didn’t like that war because they were at that point still overwhelmingly pro communist.

Last night I watched a Twilight Zone episode written by (((Rod Serling))) from 1961. It was about a former SS guy returning to Dachau after the war, where he is killed by the ghosts of the six million prisoners he holocausted. I’d be interested in a survey to see the evolution of the jews’ “Nazis were depraved and evil torturer-killers” narrative, like, how soon they got started on it and (((who else))) inserted it into popular American entertainment, etc. Bottom line: the cartoonish portrayal of the Nazi was absurd even back then, and I’m ashamed we ever fell for this… Read more »
