All other ways of producing electric energy involve some kind of turbine, and yes, a nuclear power plant produces heat via controlled nuclear fission and uses this heat to drive a steam turbine.

Almost the ENTIRE Shenandoah River is in Virginia. The last few miles of the river, before it empties into the Potomac River, is in West Virginia, just west of the border with Virginia. Otherwise, the Shenandoah River IS IN VIRGINIA!!!!

Nuclear doesn’t burn fuel, it uses the heat from fission to heat water in the case of a water reactor or sodium/NaK in the case of a molten metal reactor, in the latter case the molten metal heats water and the steam is what spins the turbines, which in turn is connected to the generators
The material used for nuclear fission chain reactions is referred to as “nuclear fuel”.

Idk what is causing Mike’s sciatica but for what it’s worth I had it badly for the longest time until I went to the Chiropractor. Thought they were all woo woo bullshit but just couldn’t take the sciatica any longer so I went. They did an X-ray and found that my pelvis was actually slightly tilted out of place, and did a fairly easy adjustment.
