Took me a few episodes to figure out who was who when I began listening to Hate House last year. I remember thinking Larry and Borzoi sounded very similar though. I think one of the first episodes I heard was the Hellen Keller one and I was dying laughing.
I also can’t tell the difference between Hans and Hank on Myth20C.

Larry I hate to well actually you, but PA is four states away from being as far east in the country as you can get, you got NY, Connecticut, and Massachusetts between PA and Maine. As for the black hole that is Blohio, the west half is Midwest, the east half is Appalachia

Dutch is more different from German than you’d think. Definitely not a dialect of German. But obviously sister languages.
When the Polish and Lithuanians conquered Western Russia the Polish and Lithuanians referred to the the so called Ukrainians Ruthenians which is exactly what they called the Eastern Russians who were conquered by the Tatars and Mongols. Ukraine is a geographic term and not an ethnic term just as the Netherlands doesn’t refer to the Dutch AKA Deutsch but rather the fact that it is on the coast.

I tend to agree with Lauritz’s analysis about Russia’s past handling of the war but I agree with DK about Russia’s future prospects.
Putin’s not an SS Panzer general on the Ostfront, DK is right about him approaching things differently, as a spook. Anyways, good discussion by both, time will tell how this war plays out
Sometimes I miss Hyperpodcastism, solely for the feel of 3 hrs of big-brain content being capped with that other amazing Stormking outro. Then I remember it’s on youtube still, so I scoot on over there while muttering “Baudrillard, Baudrillard, Baudrillard…” over and over till the ads finish. Not perfect but it does the job.
