Quick economics point:
The reason we had “almost no inflation” in the 2010’s is because you are measuring wrong. The baseline isn’t zero. Advancing technology is makes things cheaper. The baseline for inflation is more like -3% or -4%.

I used to watch SPR every year and loved Band of Brothers. The first thing that started to make me reconsider my allegiance to the Hollywood version of history I’d been engrossed in was when i watched the Korean war film My Way, in which the main characters are forced into service on the German side of the D-Day landing. Showing it from that perspective made things look so hopeless for Germany. I couldn’t from then on see them as the big bad world conquerors knowing what they fought against.
I have My Way. That’s a good film. Those guys traveled a long strange route to wind up in Normandy.

I had serious nerve pain in my leg once. Disc was bulging. The muscles felt like a they were tight as a snare drum head. Don’t know if it was sciatica, as such, but the pain was as sciatica sufferers described.
Doctor tried Tylenol 3, then Tramadol. Didn’t work. Vicodin was useless. If I wanted relief, I had to get drunk or knock myself out with 1/2 a Xanax. Then he finally prescribed Meloxicam. Very powerful NSAID. Once a day. Any more will eat a hole in your stomach. It took care of the problem.
