One of the highschools I went to in my freshman and sophomore years was about 40% to 50% black, and it has oddly enough gotten less black, and somewhat Whiter almost a decade later, assumingly because black school attendees have been drawn further out into suburbia

When I was in highschool (boarding school) the local target wanted to ban all students from the school. Most of the kids were white but we had a program to pay for kids from nyc to come up to rural New Hampshire and go to school for free.
