People should strive to pay their bills on time but the idea that if you’re month late you get your shit yanked needs to be revisited. I’ve loaned out my old generator a few times to people from my past that were having hard times (usually their own doing tbh).
My mom works for a major power company. Did you know in the summer and in the winter they won’t shut off niggers for non-payment? They call it Protection
Every time the power goes out they call up and say “Why come you shut me off? I be under pro-tection”

Apparently businesses have no “cap” protection on their power bills but residential houses, etc. have the power bill cap or whatever.
I was going to say this myself. There is no price cap for a private business. Considering the cost for the electricity on things such as refrigeration and freezing items common at coffee shops it is very easy to spend £10,000 on the energy bill. Soon many will pay a lot more than this.

Started the Game of Thrones prequel. The first thing I’ve watched in so long. It’s not bad. Mostly white cast. The only black dude they made a based black that supports the law and order uncle. I hope they don’t overdo it with the gratuitous sex like GoT did. I’m no prude, it’s just corny when it does nothing for the plot.
HBO makes decent entertainment from time to time. All three True Detective series are great, even the oft-maligned second season.
