For me, i was attracted to the artform as a kid growing up in the 90s. Most of that era of anime was written by antisemitic screenwriters or people who actually had tallent or both. I’m not big on most of the Gundam series, but Iron blooded orphans was pretty good, and focused less on the giant robits as opposed to the characters.
haven’t started iron blooded orphans but I’ve seen the original series, zeta, and wing which I all liked to some degree tho wing is in large part just cause I saw it when I was like 12
I saw wing in my late teens, and liked it, but it hasn’t held up to my current tastes. I tried a few other gundam series and just couldn’t get into them. The giant robit genre as a whole just doesn’t appeal to me.
Definitely watch IBO. That series, and Youjo Senki, (The saga of Tanya the evil) got me back into anime after a several year hiatus.
I’d say watch the movie version of the original anime which has three parts simply titled Mobile Suit Gundam The Movie and then if you liked that follow it up with the Zeta anime.

The Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd Looney Tunes are definitely subversive, at least in a very superficial way. Bugs is the smart, clever Jew with a New Yawk accent and Elmer is the dumb Goy who is always the butt of the joke. Still funny though.
