i hear all this talk about Deep Space Nine, but does anybody remember one of the better sci-fi series from the 90s? Babylon 5 presented the premise of DS9, but without the perfection that Star Trek promised… J Michael Straczynski really delivered on a full five-year arc that covered a TON of ground, including solid character development and great acting. if you ever have the opportunity to see it, you will be pleasantly impressed with it’s sophistication and (new for it’s era) extensive use of CGI, particularly in space scenes.

I got into Voyager because they brought in 7of9 to give the show some sex appeal and it worked on me.
Many such cases. The lady who played Janeway was pissed about it and a lot of the cast gave her the cold shoulder iirc.
They actually tried to do the sex allure bit with Janeway I remember, in that one episode in the first season. Then she went practical haircut. Would still bang.
It was funny that they realized it worked so well they tried the same thing with T’Pol.

There was one TDS where Mike announced a particular Star Trek episode ahead of time so everyone could watch it before the discussion on the show. That would be a cool idea to bring back for casual fans like me.
They took the entire series off of Hulu and Netflix. I have nowhere to go to watch TNG & Voyager now.

Voyager and TNG weren’t bad. I enjoyed Voyagers theme of being stuck out in deep space with only their ship and their wits to keep them going. TNG of course is all Picard.
After this episode I’m vowing to watch DS9. Looked up a few clips on YouTube and it looks good.
