I wish my brief white collar stint was as nice as yours… instead of perfecting my menial task and having easy money, I had something different each week. And if I went to somebody claiming to be a “Guru” in the subject, they rarely offer anything useful and claim their knowledge was outdated. So eventually I got canned despite busting my butt for being “below average” on some metric, compared to human drones who did one thing all day. If it’s a drone you want, good riddance.

Driving a truck has some serious draw back that’s for sure. I gained 60lbs on two meals a day over the course of six years and lost an inch and a half in height from all the slamming. I work 3 months at a time to make 74-80k a year and take a week off. Not a whole lotta time to socialize and it’s not really a respected trade on or off the road for the most part.
There are different types of truck driver…if you want respect, be the type of truck driver that wears steel toes boots not the type that wears PJs and flip flops.

I’ve always had a bad sugar habit and an ice cold full-fat Pepsi really hits that G spot. My method to manage it was switching to those little mixer cans like you get on airplane trollies & filling the glass with ice cubes. You get 95% of that “hit” as from a regular can without the rest which is never as good.
Only like the first 4 oz of a soda really hits…the rest, you can only chase that high. And even then, you have to alternate sodas daily or go a couple days without.
