There’s a good bit of tokusatsu shows (there’s a lot that’s missing but it isn’t a bad collection) on prime via the Shout tv and Toku channels. They also have a bunch of schlock cinema/B-movies. My personal rule is that if I find something I enjoy on streaming I’ll try to get a physical copy to add to my collection.

I use it only for public domain audiobooks for background noise, so no commercials — usually — unless you switch to a new video. Two working class White filmmakers I highly recommend are Jim Van Bebber and Buddy Giovinazzo. Though their films can be lean on the gritty/brutal side.

There was a Russian series called Trotsky that did a pretty good retelling of the Russian revolution and did not shy away from Trotsky’s Jewishness. There was another one like this called Norsemen that was actually a Norwegian production. It was sort of a dark historical comedy in the Monty Python Holy Grail style. Pretty good stuff.

Quite a few states have resolutions (and maybe even amendments) that would pass a ban on abortion as soon as Roe is overturned. I think this applies even to states such as New York. So you could have blue states where a red state house previously passed legislation that should go into effect as soon as Roe is overturned.
