Same here. I remember enjoying a lot Mike’s solo content about his visit to the Midwest last year or during his cross-country car ride a couple years back.
Awesome solo show as always, love the laidback vibe. You have a “professional broadcaster” type of voice, as you are probably aware. As for show topics, I would love more content about how everything is a rehash of everything now, more metal music musings, the collecting “gene” many of us have and our inner fight against this materialism, and maybe stuff about how you were in your conservative days (e.g. “Love Israel–only democracy in the Middle-East!”), and how and when you became J-woke.

What I really want more than anything would be for Sven to interview Gelal of Arghoslent/Grand Belial’s Key. He’s definitely our guy and almost never does interviews and Sven is already a fan of his music.

HOLY SHIT the first song of this album is insanely good. I love Euro power metal and traditional metal, but I still love how the vocals sound.
On the topic of modern metal being mostly rehashing old bands, this band called Sheavy sounded so much like Black Sabbath (the vocalist fucking nails classic Ozzy in particular) that someone uploaded this song to Youtube calling it a Black Sabbath song, and unless you read the comments under the video you would have never guessed that it wasn’t. Something something Beudrillard, something something hauntology, something something graph.
