You could use “Video Speed Controller” Chrome extension if it was a decent player, but even 1.5x speed causes it to sputter and buffer every 10 seconds. It needs to be pre-loading the data further ahead for 2x to be viable. I noticed there’s a right click “Save video as…” option. So I think my workaround for now is going to be letting the videos download while I go do something else, then I can play them back at warpspeed in VLC later.
