The theory of Jesus being an avatar of only “Elohim” doesn’t really work because in the New Testament Jesus’s name literally means “Yahweh is salvation.” It’s also very clear that the New Testament writers believe that Yahweh and Elohim are the same entity. When quoting the OT Yahweh’s name is replaced with the title LORD.
