I’m seeing in the comments here the same thing I observed. This could have easily been a 4 hour podcast. SLOW THE “F” DOWN, BLEASE! From minute 1 to minute 131, this is the best and most autistic content I’ve heard since Strike and Mike’s review of “Stalin’s War”. 1/3 of what Louis said went over my head; 1/2 of that from not understanding what was being said, and 1/2 of it from not comprehending what was being said. I did know the Churchill quote about NATO though. The only thing potentially better than the analysis throughout was the speculation… Read more »
Legit Episode gents. Can’t wait for that Azov deep dive. A few comments I had -Regarding Nukes: THIS! Seriously, this fucking magic weapon isn’t a thing, they are huge conventional munitions with tremendous range and in HUGE numbers. For those who think this is a crazy point of view, don’t go looking online for arguments about it, you WILL find crazy ass shit. Look into a book called Death Object by Akio Nakatani, it’s a short, informative read regarding nukes, see if you still have the same perspective after reading that. -Regarding Russia War Movies: They are fun, and a… Read more »

The Mycenaean civilization predated the Greek classical period. Troy was located on the coast of Anatolia, not the Black Sea.
Minoan civilization predates Mycenean civilization. Troy (Ilium) was in Anatolia but the general historical consensus as I understand it is that the “real” reason for the war was control over access to the Black Sea via the Hellespont. In any case thanks for your comments!
The inhabitants of ancient Troy probably spoke a form of Luwian.
Greeks were only just starting to inhabit the western coast of Anatolia (Asia Minor) in the Mycenaean era.
Greek colonies in the Black Sea weren’t established until the Greek Archaic period, centuries after the Mycenaeans and centuries after the Bronze Age collapse, as far as I know.
Greek Black Sea colonies established 7th century BC not 15th century BC.
Bronze Age trade with the Black Sea region not the same thing as Iron Age/Greek Archaic Period colonies in the Black Sea.
Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. To the original point I made on the show, Greeks have been around Mariupol for 2700 years rather than 4000 years. Still ridiculous that they’re being expected to become “Ukrainian” now
this whole region has a heavy culture of forced language and i think alphabet changes over at least the last hundred years under the soviets/russians but i expect if i checked this would be the norm throughout history. heavily trafficked area that has been the clash of european vs asian civs back and forth forever
Great content goys! Keep it coming.

Oh I agree. There’s also still some Greek speakers left in southern Italy, formerly Magna Graecia.

Can you guys release this at -1.5 speed?
I was wondering if I was the only one who had difficulty with this accelerated “legal fine print” speed.
Are they constrained for time?
No, pls don’t. I speak like this too irl and there’s nothing wrong with it.
Death to Israel.
I second that
Ok, cool Pepe poster.
At least you can revert the colors of those hideous paintings, trigger the libs and cuckservatives with that lol!
I’m feeling deluged with ukraine content but I’ll slog through 2 more hours of it for luis zingers
