Striker’s great but sometimes he’s in his own little world and overlooks things…like how do you charge a battery on an electric car.

My mother in law own an auto tag shop. My wife brought our son who at the time just turned 3 to the office. My son pressed the panic button under the desk there for if you ate being held up. The cops came and said next time it will be $300.

I got in traffic trouble when I was 17. My father was the physician for the prosecutor. So it was all set up the judge was going to just let me off. The Judge screamed at me in front of the court for show

My father was a state trooper for 30 years and he was lenient on traffic citations. You can accomplish alot more talking with someone and giving warnings than you can with a fine.

I wouldn’t be a Friday if I didn’t get to “well actually” Mike:
38% of our electricity comes from natural gas, and only 22% comes from coal, nnnnnguy. https://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=427&t=3
HoKEEE hotshot, you’ve released the sperg in me:
In 23 states (plus DC) natural gas is the primary source for electricity; in 11 states it is coal. In the other 17 states 10 use more natural gas; 7 use more coal. In 13 states over 50% of electricity comes from natural gas; in 8 states it is coal. https://www.nei.org/resources/statistics/state-electricity-generation-fuel-shares
Verdict: Natural Gas wins on points.

I am a respectable married lady now, the soul of decorum, but when I was a mere sprig of a girl, I was pulled over on multiple occasions for my tendency to push the pedal to the metal. I never had one ticket though. I was a cute, polite, earnest chickadee. HAHA! Cute Chick Privilege!

America has relied less on coal and more on natural gas for electricity in recent years.
Natural gas converts more efficiently into electricity than coal does and it contains less carbon, which is the main reason the US has managed to decrease its CO2 emissions.
Nope, I am making an apples to apples comparison. Most manufacturing left the US more than 20 years ago.
The US now emits less CO2 per kilowatt-hour, and emits less CO2 despite consuming more energy.

I had a similar situation where I almost lost my license for speeding at sixteen years old. I went to traffic court because “the cop might not show up and you get off.” Well, he showed, and I had literally no defense. Lucky for me he offered to reduce the points to the judge. No one else got that deal when I saw the previous people who were there for the same speed trap, and I was going faster. It’s one reason I can’t hate on cops as much as I’d like to. I definitely slowed down after. 🍀

Sven’s comment about his wife not having a bank account blew me away. As a guy who went through several tumultuous seperation, almost-divorce periods as a child, the idea of two parents just trusting each other so completely to do that is… well it’s something.
That kind of trust forms when you grow up together if I’m not mistaken they were high school sweethearts. I don’t remember when that’s been stated or if I just gathered this from years of listening lol

well the main reason the US decreased emissions is cause we moved our manufacturing abroad
