FWIW, I think Belarus should have the closest relationship with Russia it can (I wouldn’t blink if they were just annexed). They have ties that deep and they don’t have any geopolitical choice. I think you just have to suck it up, just like I have to suck up being a part of America but not wanting to be. Maybe you could find Zelensky, cut off his head and deliver it to Putin as an opening move in your negotiations for an independent Ukraine.
