My Iraq war support was in phases. At first it was pro-war because Saddam bad and WMDs. After that, I started to cope for post-MISSION ACCOMPLISHED casualties with “It’s just Saddam loyalists, real Iraqis want us there” Then once WMDs didn’t pan out, I was pro-war because Saddam still bad because muh freedom.
