You don’t have to cut out all carbs to have a keto diet; a better description would be low carb rather than no carb. Leafy greens, cauliflower, broccoli etc. are low carb. If you’ve developed insulin resistance keeping low carb is key to keeping blood sugar levels and insulin low. In general avoiding processed food is key as well. Sugar addiction is real and most modern fruits, high carb veggies, breads and pasta etc are little different than straight sugar as far as how it effects insulin.
