I remember that from WOR and WPIX, I got those channels as a kid and watched Yankees and Mets games. you know what drives me insane about being in the rural south? Here in Oklahoma there are so many good local chains like Braum’s and Mazzio’s for fast food/pizza or HARPs for groceries, and these places in my experience hire only white people and keep an adequate staff on-hand they’re always running with like a dozen people and yet there are still tons of boomers that just braindead go to the non-white understaffed mcdonalds and walmart for an inferior experience and inferior product just because they’re used to doing it and refuse to do otherwise
