Mike, I think for that one part about the use of force. When you said “I think some places…” before getting derailed. You were probably thinking of a place like Indiana, not only do you have full, strong castle doctrine, plus no duty to retreat whatsoever anywhere you’re legally allowed to be. In Indiana, the one special thing you get that the vast majority of other places don’t give you, is that it’s legal to use deadly force to protect property.
