The strategy i take towards the capitalizing of races is i let them keep the capitalized letter on the color or race, but i only capitalize the “P” in peolpe when refuring to real people. So if their statement gose like “Black people do x, and white people do y”, ill reply with “Black people do x, and white People do y”.
