Italian food is greatly overrated. From a Midwesterner. Germanic foods are vastly superior. That’s what we eat. But they are so ubiquitous now that no one sees them as unique. Ubiquitous because they are delicious. Being surrounded by Italics screaming about sauces and spices is nightmarish to me. Part 1 triggered my Italian step family PTSD. A warning would be nice next time borthers.

We eat the same as southerners, plus we have Kansas City and Texas barbeque. Idk how you know barbeque without know two of the most famous types.
Also Texas is definitely closer to being Midwest than it is to the South, as in Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia etc. They don’t even have the same accent. Plus it’s just plains and dessert, same as Nebraska and Kansas.
Texas is a transition state between the South and the Southwest. East Texas is piney woods and west Texas is desert. They’re more southwestern folk than southern folk, but really they are their own type, seeing as the state is as large as France.
My pitmaster sandwich is pretty flavorful. Niggers say anything that isn’t covered in tobasco is bland.

Don’t worry about viability, worry about what feels right and virtuous. Centering our metaphysical, moral and mythological center on our own blood instead of some foreign ink feels pretty damn right and virtuous to me.
