One thing about melatonin and benzos and muscle relaxants and any other thing thats a sleep aid… once it loses its effectiveness after a long time of use u can be permanently f*cked. Your natural brain chemistry becomes altered/disrupted and you could become an insomniac. Natural unaided sleep, though difficult to achieve w all the corporate caffeine we’re pumped w daily, has no substitute. Melatonin at low doses is fine. In order to counter act the tolerance issue, you have to cycle it with something else. DHI is horrible, so ate prescription sleep pills. I cycle mine with Kanna in an elixir form from liftmode. Kanna is the shit. Absolutely no hang over feeling the next day like with melatonin.
I’ve always had problems with melatonin even in small doses. It gives me nightmares and makes it difficult to get up and start the day. I’ve been a lifelong insomniac irrespective of stimulants.
The best way to get sleep is physical exertion, and slowing your brain down. Meditation, and light reading on subjects that don’t rustle the jimmies are the best options in my case. YMMV.
