For some reason Bonamassa’s name always reminds me of Paul Stanley buying his kid a guitar at some guitar store where it’s so apparent that jew had some serious facial reconstruction done. Looks alien.
Maybe it’s a guitar shop they both frequented or something. Hilarious footage none the less.

Dumbles are expensive because they were the recording amp of choice in the 70s and 80s. Keith Richard’s is not really apart of that. The guys involved in the LA recording scene that produced Steely Dan are a big part of it. Notables that used dumbles are. SRV Jackson Brown (lap steel player too) Robben Ford Larry Carlton John Mayer Kenny Wayne Shepherd And I think Phil x mixes in a dumble for his small amp in the mix sound. Well Sven’s not wrong about the price and how stupid it is. Especially since there are very good competitors nowadays. Not inexpensive, but reasonable by comparison. I just think a lot of people don’t understand how many pop tunes and TV themes were recorded with these amps.

Joe Bonermonster’s dad owned an antique instrument store when he was growing up. He’s technically skilled but he has zero feel. Sven summed it up.
