The origin of the term is from the 1944 movie “Gaslight,” starring Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman. For some reason I’m not fully appreciating the significance of this story. Probably because I only get the gist and not the full shot, maybe because the depravity of the FBI no longer surprises me or that we learned the story originally in January and rightly trusted Striker would be proven correct. In my country it’s only approved for use on animals but it is widely known that it is a safe drug for humans, at usual dosages, and can be used off-label for humans – but seldom is – and it’s considered a reasonably safe drug, just as pretty antything else non-extraordinary.
