Some Chinese factories still illegally release CFCs, but overall the production/release of CFCs is way down. Apparently the reason why crushing or breaking polystyrene (styrofoam) was an ozone hazard was because chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) gases were pumped into the foam during manufacture to keep the material from collapsing. Meaning that breaking it into smaller pieces would allow some of the trapped CFCs to escape. However new styrofoam is not inflated with CFCs, so breaking it won’t release ozone depleting gases.

Yes the cabin air filter must be changed. Mikes right, smoking causes it to be funky when you turn the AC on. And when I’ve changed mine, it’s full of pine needles and leaves n shit
If you do have to change a filter just buy one at Autozone or O’Reilly’s. They cost around 10-15 bucks and a gas station or oil change place is gonna charge you 40 bucks for the part and 4 minutes of labor.
Unpopular opinion but I agree. The smonkers of the beep beep lettuce are often holiday hooligans and selling that shit is always an invitation for them.

Something similar happened to me years ago when I worked at a County Park that shall go unnamed. Found a guy parked at one of the smaller trail entrances, all four car doors wide open, all of his shit, cigarettes, water, ect., strewn all over, and he, himself half naked and sprawled out snoring in a puddle of mud.
I had a walkie and the local park cop was there in five minutes. I saw no reason to touch him, not nearly so courageous as Chairman Mike.

If you don’t do anything to the smoke and soot that comes out of a coal furnace and you burn massive quantities of coal for energy, then acid rain can occur. In place like China you’ll see the effects of this on statues and stone/metal structures which get tarnished and dissolved from the rain. And that’s because the rain is at much lower (more acidic) pH than pre-industrial china because of the by-products of coal burning making it into rainclouds.
