I used to listen to a lot of Prog Rock when I was a teenager, but now I find most of it to be bland and uninteresting.
What bands though? Early Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, etc. are all great. I don’t and can’t listen to Yes, ELP and the really over the top ones anymore.
Not a prog rock band but kind of out of that world was Hawkwind who were great.

I couldn’t tell you the reason we in the lgbt community seems to get more and more intolerant to ourselves. We have a huge issue with racism and transphobia among white gays. It’s odd to me as many decades ago the black community banded together with the then LGB community for support. A black trans woman threw the first brick at Stonewall. But then again, I kept hearing that Prop 8 (2008 ban on gay marriage in California) passed because black voters supported it. Homophobia runs deeper in black baptist communities and that creates further division.
