Well ackshually And Justice for All is mediocre, and KeA and RtL are superior to MoP. Black Album is unlistenable. And almost all metal is blues based. It’s only black metal that doesn’t really use blues scaling.
Every time someone does a cover of “Hook” they should completely change the lyrics. Make it as crazy as possible, within the confines of the original pattern. Getting more deranged with each verse. There were a couple songs that my first band used to do this with. The lead guitarist used to like have a song called “Howard Hughes”.
