I’m supposed to start building my house in a month. I’ve seen these mobile mill saws on trailers in homesteader shows. Would I be biting off too much by trying to source my own lumber?
My brothers good friend owns a tree cutting business. He had to cut down 2 Redwoods and we took them and turned them into usable lumber. We hired a local guy who had one of those portable trailer mills. I don’t know your experience(I’m assuming a good amount if your going to build your own house), or what kind of assistance you’ll have, but it is definitely doable.
