My priest asked me not too long ago what I thought God was calling me to do so I dropped the 14 words on him lel. The churches became fake & gay because that became the easiest way to get along with the changing establishment zeitgeist. Compare how Mormonism just so happened to shut up about its doctrine on race and allowed blacks to become preachers during the civil rights movement. What a coincidence. I perceive Christianity as being less of a social force to keep things a certain way, and more of an intuition that will be as passive as needed to get through changing circumstances. So, I don’t think fagoty churches will change until the dominant forces make it the most practical course first.
I’m not talking about using the Church as a political or social force, I just believe certain things are true and that if you do certain things you will be a much better off and happier person. I want the same thing for the people that I care about. I don’t know what your denomination is but mine is Russian Orthodox and my priests are pretty much the same and they are pretty much hardcore against the homosexual and tranny things. So long as you follow the teachings of the church, you can be ethnocentric, or whatever. They don’t seem to have any problem with my politics.
