I agree with the overall take about bodybuilding. I was always more into being strong and looking intimidating. At least where I live the drug use is not as prevalent among hobbyists, I’ve only once been offered the chance to buy steroids. Then again doing cocaine etc is generally seen as a more weird thing than in America too. I’m guessing the American college sports system is where most of the steroid problem stems from – where I live has a much more limited competetive sports culture.
