I’ve been watching Red Letter Media for about three or four years longer than TDS, and it was very amusing to me to see how TDS first noticed them, gave them some harsh criticism and didn’t pay it much further mind, but fairly quickly from episode to episode I saw how RLM got its hooks into Sven especially and also a bit into Mike. Regarding Mike’s point of why you’d choose something other than a queen when you promote a pawn in chess: sometimes a queen will result in a stalemate if it limits the king’s movement without checking. A rook or bishop might not do that.
