Heat is a great movie. That and Mann’s The Insider is two of my favorite movies of the 90s. Somebody might find it boring but it is intelligent, multilayered with great attention to detail in all aspects (Not just shootouts and violence), believable, good casting w excellent supporting roles by Tom Sizemore, Val Kilmer and even mexican ex-criminal Danny Trejo and a fantastic soundtrack.
