I highly recommend the Stoker novel as it is a great piece of Victorian literature. It’s written using documents like letters and newspaper articles which gives it a historical grounding and makes it feel more believable. Great book.

I read this book about 25 years ago. I don’t know if you’d say that it’s a pro-Dracula books especially as Radu Florescu comes from a family that opposed Dracula but I just interpreted the details of Prince Vlad’s story as an Heroic tale.
