I would recommend The Dark Crystal series based on the 1982 Jim Henson movie. It’s a combination of puppets and CGI. It looks great. It’s also very antisemitic.

You can’t challenge them if they’re non Whites, particularly black. However management and therefore low rung employees are also responsible for food costs, which are directly affected by this. Try explaining your food coat is high because people are dining an dashing. I’ll have to SLIGHTLY push back on the concept of monsters as proxies for Juden. I was actually commenting about this in another thread on here already, and I’m starting a Cerebral Post about it. While there’s obviously alot of symbolism and parallels with Vampires, Witches, and these monstrous “others”, it always seems there’s a lesson to draw from them. And the Torch-wielding Mob is always depicted as a Greater Evil that doesnt “understand” the monsters. I think this showed the anti-social, detached nature of Horror writers in contrast to their environment and the peasants around them.

I used to read a lot to my niece and nephew when they were young and the old fairy tales are much more like Dahl obviously in that they’re lessons that the world is not all nice and that there are dangers and things you have to be aware of. I actually watched The Witches this last weekend. It’s definitely interesting. I immediately thought the witches were Jews. It’s on amazon prime.

Roald Dahl, JK Rowling, Tolkien may have been liberals politically. But just by reading their works you can tell that they are very European in their core nature. British authors by and large have been best at writing books for children. Perhaps the latter statement is purely based on my bias because I grew up reading them.
