Grab your rocks and bones as Borzoi, McNabb, and Nike delve for four hours into the brain-melting hyperreal philosophy of Jean Baudrillard and his 1981 work Simulacra and Simulation.

But I want to vote for Green Light Saber!
Cuties sounds like peak Ambiance, to use Baudrillard’s own language. Not just the film but the dynamics of its creation and production, the black wahmen on her soapbox celebrating liberal consumption as a means of resisting tradition, enabled by jewish pedophiles who, I am certain, video recorded every one of those 600 some odd auditions of twerking 11 year olds. “For review purposes, goy.” Also, McNabb watching it so others don’t have to us very valid and relevant to our struggle. In our community development endeavors we will have to encourage our families to resist these forms of consumption but… Read more »

Wade also comes from Vado, Vadere, “to ford.”
Schindler’s List and similar media create a version of the Holocaust that is more easily consumed and “real” than what actually happened.
The Holocaust Did Not Take Place.
“Nazi” is third order simulation, a sign coded by the media as “bad”. The reason our thing exists is 4chan and other such internet cultures broke and transcended the simulation because it grabbed power from the simulation media like an actual parallel institution. This is what was called “meme magic”. It feels surreal to have posted in that ok-sign 4chan thread, it consciously wielded the simulation media to demostrate the reality of meme magic.
When considering Baudrillard’s “reactionary tendencies”, I feel like the 4chan perverting Moldbug perverting Matrix perverting Baudrillard definition of “the red pill” is actually closer to the original than the middlemen the referent was carried through.
Michelle Foucoult is his own degeneracy category. Lol
How many Foucoults are you on? Like 2-3 up my butt, my dude.
I went and reread the remainder chapter and my brain hurts now. It seemed more coherent when I was reading I was half asleep.
The explanation of the Samson option made me see a parallel between Israel and rokos basilisk
Borzoi, I haven’t listened to this autistic podcast yet, but how can I PAY YOU to make a poz button about a movie? The movie I’m thinking about is The Decline of the American Empire. This is a Québec film. I know you have french canadian origins… Tabarnak. Let me know. I think you’ll like this one.

This is gonna scare away the working class normies
French is spelled the way it is because that’s how it used to be pronounced. Why do we spell butter with two t’s when no t’s are actually pronounced?
French’s orthographic inconsistencies are easy to deal with anyway, just don’t pronounce word final consonants. If you want a garbage orthography try Irish.
About a quarter of the way in and all I can think of is how pedestrian this guys subject matter is women’s fashion give me a break
That was Roland Barthes
I see. It seems that hyper reality is a philosophical concept based on or related to the biological concept of super stimulus which is basically just a hacking of the brain if you’ve read about it.
Yeah a large part of Baudrillard’s philosophy is in a sense the philosophy of technology. Hence why he praises Ballard and Philip K. Dick a lot. Where as a lot of postmodernists seem to have engaged very little with the fallout of a highly technological society, Baudrillard by the 80s made sure to incorporate this into what he saw.
Do you plan to cover Heidegger?
Some day
Oh boy, been looking forward to this one. Take the borzoi-pill.
Canada is hugely rural. Shame on you, McNabb!
At my childhood church there were several old German boomer immigrants all of whom were crotchety and hated having their time wasted. When our resident Finnish student pastor exceeded the allotted 10 minutes usually given for LCMS sermons one of the germans heckled him, almost shouting “Too many words!”
>Germans complaining about too many words
North German boomers are curt and to the point as a rule.
Anglos would’ve charged subscription fee for overtime
grug brain hurt
Releasing a 4 hour podcast just as the great drought ends? I hate you. At least this is evergreen content so I can save it for later.
Am I big brained enough to post in this comment section?
If you ask instead of just barging in, probably
Grug brains can post too. No midwits though. Midwits get the rock.

>Have a confused existential fear about the whole situation.
Borzoi, do French have a term for when the simulation breaks down because of contemporary terrorism retroactively inserting context into a multiple layer simulation.
[laughs in Baudrillard]
I’m not entirely joking.
That whole video brings me a ‘Anemoia La Terrible’, to use a french phrase I made up to sounds more deeper than I am
Yo Borzoi, french speaker here. Funny enough, Reims, Baudrillard’s hometown, is pronounced *rhence*, like Reince Penis or whatever that GOP guy’s name was
I always thought it’s pronounced ‘Ras’, like Ras Al Ghul from the Batman.
Cause I gues that’s what JeBa is – a Ghoul from Rheims.
It’s weird. As the panel said, French makes little sense. You know because you know sometimes
I’m sorry English speakers have no standing with that kind of comment. Your language is not consistent and you’re fine with it.
French is fine, but it’s not as precise and consisten as German. A K is a Kay and a C is a Cee in German and not arbitrarily contextual.
I am excited for product
