Agreed. The historic Christian faith is not one of surrender, but fighting to protect you and your community from attack. Modern evangelicalism is a weak and flacid version of Christianity that appeals mainly to soy boys and social justice cows, but they do not possess the authentic Christian faith. I thought the Crusades were “BASED” when I thought they were targeting jews, but as it turns out they weren’t so much. They were just going after people who didn’t adopt the faith, maybe jews fell into that category from time to time but for the most part the Catholic church protected them as a class. What Groypers, and even EMJ will say is that the “Cathars” were jews….they weren’t, they were heretics who had a different version of the faith.
If the Catholic Church treated Jews like they treated heretics and pagans, there wouldn’t be any Jews left in the West to be doing shit to us now.

Christianity is less a religious cultural program, and more just “Romanism,” in that: accept or die; and: “Call God by the right name, thereby being cool with us.”
Religion/ any cultural program, or evolutionary strategy should be centered on children and raising them healthy and strong. Your “eternal life” is them living on when you pass away.

This is why I reject Aquinas’ attempt to fuse Christianity with Aristotle. The ancient Greeks saw the polis as a mortal political organism. It’s death was the final death and that is why they fought so fiercely. Aristotle codified his Cardinal Virtues based on the Greek warrior ethos, which cannot be divorced from the Greek dichotomy of Thnytois and Athanatoi, mortal (the hoplite himself) and deathless (the hoplite’s heroism and the survival of the Polis)…
