I get the idea of providing buy-ins for color but if we can’t trust conservatives how does color become anything other than a wedge? The most insidious thing about the mask issue is that it fulfills the subconscious need for politics as it is in a sense a political issue because it’s a matter of the health of the Volksturm, the Polis, and the refusal to wear a mask that doesn’t stop infection but stop the spread, that’s a sign of a deepseated disdain for the public health.
