Borzoi inaugurates a new podcast that explores modern and postmodern ideas and philosophies with a conversation about the psychic terror of Mark Fisher's Capitalist Realism with Keith Woods and Alex McNabb
The George Floyd video is the new stained glass window.
Are we getting a People’s Square tonight?
haha ‘the big normie’ is a great concept. Place the harvest hamper on the alter as offering to the big normie. Do not meet his gaze
Judt as my copy of Capitalist Realism has highlights, Underlining, notes in the margin. Ill be re-listening to this again with a pen.
You used the word gamification wrong. Gamification are techniques that use behavioural psychology to create loops of behaviour. In a sense, create addiction to products. I’ve done this professionally.
@borzoi I have a few guys that are heavy intellectual thinkers, I have had conversations regarding race and JQ but the “TDS, Peoples Square and Spencer tube stuff” didn’t really connect with them in the past the way this show did. These guys are high paid, science lab types with little intrest in politics “currently” but have a huge interest in things like philosophy, books and media like black mirror ect. You have a killer cast on this and the way you all where able to tie it back to the relevance of our message was remarkable! You have sparked… Read more »
Wow is this right down my alley. I loved listening to it. It plucked a crystalline distillation out of the ether of my mind so much of how I think and feel about this age we live in and my place in it. Discussions like these need to be a regular feature. I ask not as a fan but for lack of a better word as a patient. I want to let you guys know this sort stuff means something. Sincerely, I thank you.
As an aside…I got a fever and the only cure is more pine tree.
Good stuff boys. I’ll be listening.
One of the books by the French post-structuralists that is worth reading and giving time is Jean Baudrillard’s In The Shadow of the Silent Majorities. I know Alex is familiar with Baudrillard’s Simulation and Simulacra.
As is typical with Baudillard, there is quite a bit in the book, but the part that I was reminded of in 2016 involves the power of the masses with regard to the relative helplessness of the elites. It’s one of Baudrillard’s (patented) illuminating inversions.
Where is the graphcast! I want Graphcast!
Ok. As shitty as TGC(graph not god) and their devolving production is…they post thoughtful stuff. Concepts I never thought about. I am not saying it is high quality content but it makes me think and those 2 minutes per hour are worth sifting through. Like a caveman understanding the potential of a rock.
Very enjoyable to listen to, this was great
I want two episodes of this per week. And I will not take no for an answer. This is a threat of violence.
Good luck with the new podcast, lads!
is this duganism?
It refers to the political thinking of Alexsandr Dugin, sometimes called ‘Third Position’.
This was FUCKING AWESOME! ?
Great show. Really hope it becomes Borzois primary, ongoing thing
Seeing the human mind as a computer is spiritual Semitism.
Someone on reddit also told me I should read capitalist realism last week. I found free audiobook on youtube instead and listen ed before starting podcast. It’s just over 2 hours long, so in conjunction with this you get a nice little marathon that tops strike and mike
https://youtu.be/-5F4IcS9wo8
Let’s get one thing STRAIGHT Bob: NOTHING tops Strike and Mike!
I just meant in runtime
Just for this week
Not even Strike the Nation?
I’ve been shilling John David Ebert for years now, glad to see keith at least is aware of him. Ebert is at a point right now where I think he could be brought over to our side fairly easily. Either through back channel discussions or maybe coming on here in the future, or having you guys on his hypermodernity podcast. Would be worth reaching out to him. His book on hypermodernity is pretty interesting, covers a lot of the stuff you guys did here and some stuff keith has been talking about recently. Art After Metaphysics and Myths, Gods, Machines… Read more »
If you want to read along Fisher became well known through his k-punk blog on philosophy & his experiences lecturing to dumbed down, atomised, de-racinated, lost youths in a shitty higher education college

In some sense modern humans have always lived in a hyperreality. A medieval church with its stained glass and stations of the cross is a hyperreality. The itinerant rhapsodist entrancing Greek farmers with the Iliad and Odyssey was projecting a hyperreality. A Druidic festival with its costumed pageantry was a hyperreality. Humans are creatures of the imagination. Fanciful obsession with mythos has always consumed our spare clockcycles during hours of labour and routine. The only question is who is defining our inner landscapes and how do we stop it from being the jews.
There’s a threshold upon which a simple story becomes hyperreality.
Seeing is believing, hyperreality couldn’t exist without audio visual arts
This was a listen.
I guess the fear I have is that analogy with 17th century France. They couldn’t imagine Godless world, until they did. In the end what brought that down was World Wars. So we didn’t do anything to end that frame of mind (apart from having a massive world shattering war). So, I guess what will end capitalism is the total resource and ecological collapse. and there’s nothing we will do.
God save our souls.
There is no god, so….
That’s like your opinion
Borzoi is criminally underrated, TRS needs a Borzoi show 3 times a week minimum.
Hope to see more of Keith. He is one of the best thinkers in this movement and is good for both normies and big brains
Agreed. This podcast was awesome.
YES FUCKING FINALLY! I’ve been asking for this podcast ever since Borzoi started talking about Kaczynski and Baudrillard on Third Rail.
Also please make Keith Woods a recurring co-host.
Right there with you! I’ve been pining for a reboot of Kulturkampf since it ceased to be. Borzoi has become the third part of my TRS holy tripartite, with Mike and Striker. And on that note, please no godcasting guests (no pun intended towards the Godcast).
I sent this to my best fren irl, because he fears the joo question and is an Irish elitist. I think Keith will help him come over to our side. I can work on the joo question later.
This better be 4 hours long
Hey, it’s NOT Strike and Mike!
Or TPS.
Looking forward to hearing what yall get up to on this new consoomable product
“Office Space”
God I HATED that movie! Because it reminded me of my “work” “life”.
the stapler guy was the hero.
lol it’s probably still there
What? My job?
I left my copy of Animal Farm on a DART bus bench in Dallas, in the middle of the worst ghetto. So glad my bus was on time.
I haven’t listened yet, but I think ease is a spectrum. The internet was the largest surge in the ease factor in history after the industrial revolution. Once people have burritos and Spotify, I feel they’re never gonna go into the trenches again, for any reason on some level. Crime plummeted worldwide in the 1990s. And after about 2000 everything kind of died off. Everything is sanitized. Meanwhile the hungry hordes are at the door. How do you recreate community after the internet? If 5th Poltical Theory, the formation of American Whites into a true nation is the ultimate goal,… Read more »
“Once people have burritos”
Now I’m starvin’!
Follow my Golden Restaurant Rule: If it was made by a black, it’s gonby wack. Tell them you want it remade by a white person, or your money back.
Is Keith Woods here to stay? This looks fucking awesome!
Keith is an Irish treasure.
updote for Nike!
“I think the current plan is for Nike to become my co-host”
I’ve listened to many hours of Nike, while building and refining the farmhouse. That sounds great Uncle Borzoi. He has an aptitude for philosophy, that is probably unparalled by members of his age-group. Keith is just on a whole different level. I’m legitimately impressed by Keith’s prescence.
Thank you, Borzoi, for yet another great listening experience.

Very good show Borzoi. This might be my favorite show on TRS ever.
“Capitalist Realism”
The reality of Capitalism is that it rapaciously picks the pockets of the middle and working classes and relentlessly grinds up any kind of folk culture in service to it’s consumerist propaganda! And if you dare resist it will ruthlessly chastise you even unto death!
Here is a perfect example of Capitalist Realism: https://media1.s-nbcnews.com/j/newscms/2016_21/1551451/ss-160525-hiroshima-bombing-archive-12_3a364e0f7fdfb3f67a31abfca834c38e.fit-760w.jpg
Spam, I always click on your pics.

Thanks for your positive feedback ethnofren!
I just Hyper Coomsumed this podcast
Fuck you gents killed it
a comma is necessary, but I agree.
LOL!
Great show! I have high hopes for this show going forward.
LET. IT. ALL. BURN.
The fire rises.
You win the avatar game. Now I want to consume that Mr. Bond video, “Where Did You Go.”
I (Anglo from TYH) would like to join your podcast if you ever need guests. I read a ton of philosophy. I’ve also been on EBL 2 times. Hit me up UWU
The novelty of a new podcast all about big-brainery has got my dopamine going fellas
How the fuck did borzoi use cookie clicker and not LITERALLY adventure capitalist as an example of clicker games?
Americans: Marxist
Keith Woods: Miyerksist
Mu favorite is when he talks about the turd world.
Curl Murks
Maerksist
Regaerdless

Borzoi finally gives me a reason to come to TRS on Thursday!
This could dethrone Strike and Mike.
Hard to beat four hours of intense fact checking.
LOL!!!
You shut your mouth.
LOL!!! Damn straight ethnoman!
I appreciate the content.
Whoa there, Marty! Try to control yourself! Anymore outbursts like that and you could get banned!
What an amazing surprise for my midwit Nazbol brain!
