Wouldn’t meat plants be very cold? I mean a “meat locker” is a term for “cold”. I could see it being high moisture content which would be conducive to virus spreading though
That’s meat storage lockers. The actual butchering isn’t done in refrigerator meat lockers.

There’s an abattoir down here in Australia that has like 100 cases. Thanks for explaining the meat particle phenomenon. I had no idea why the virus kept hitting these places so hard. Also it’s owned by lebs.
The issue is mainly the conditions the workers live in at their homes. Large scale meat processing plants in the US hire mostly non-whites and they live worse than the animals they are butchering. They bring the virus with them to work and it spreads like wild fire.

It makes me sad to see Colin Flaherty lost so much weight. Scares me a little. I think he’s doing better though. He’s back at it.
Buying a side or quarter beef isn’t that complicated. I’d highly recommend it. I get a quarter of certified, grass fed Piedmontese for about 3.95/lbs. a freezer large enough for a quarter is about $250. So, you’ll have about 150 lbs of meat for around $800 total investment. Don’t hate me for well actuallying.
Yeah I just split a half between my family and my folks. Came out to $3/lb, local white ranchers dropped it off and everything. The bone in rib eyes look like tomahawks!
It is grass fed and finished. And I don’t care if animal protein is considered harmful by anyone. Whites had to survive sometimes for months without anything but animal fat and protein. Seems to have worked out fine for us.

Ruralite checking in. What you’ll do if you buy a cow/side of beef (or a pig which I’d recommend starting out with) from a farmer is work with them to take it to their processor, which may or may not involve USDA inspection. If the meat is not for resale and is for your family’s consumption it does not need to be inspected and you can save some money that way. Generally meat processing is charged per-pound separately and you pay that fee to the slaughterhouse. Whoever you’re working with to get the cow from probably already has a years… Read more »

The truly tech savvy generation is the Oregon trail/Xenniel generation because they grew up and experienced adolescence where they had to learn basic dos command lines in order to play their games.
Oof Posobiec’s manager must’ve fell asleep at the wheel. Probably assumed national hyphen was some j€w rag like national review and was safe. Congrats to Striker on the ongoing success of the site though.

Gen X and Milennials are better with tech than Zoomers. Zoomers grew up in the era of joggertech. They use phones more than computers. Boomers are still hopeless though.
Millennials are to computers as Boomers are to classic cars. Especially desktop computers. Pick any random guy born within five years of 1990 and ask him about the computer he owns. You’ll get to hear him painstakingly list off the full spec sheet.
Then find a guy born around 2000 and ask him the same question and he’ll probably be able to tell you the brand of his laptop and not much else. Maybe the amount of RAM it has. And he’ll be helpless to do any kind of deeper troubleshooting or tuning.
1978-1993 births are the tech savvy demo. The best programmers generally born between 1978-1986 because they had dos exposure and so became familiar with command prompts.

Freezers aren’t available in our area because everyone is doing this
Any meat can be sold as grass-fed if the cow eats grass for one day of its life. Grass fed + grass finished is best.
Too much animal protein is worse than not enough, anyways, check out “gas them” Gundry on this
