The rapture is about the most ridiculous belief any Christian ever came up with. It’s practically guaranteed to appeal to high time preference losers. Why bother to get an education, learn skills with market value, develop a career, save and invest money, start a family, plan for the future, etc., if you expect to fly off to heaven without having to die first, and at any moment now?
I’ve seen whites say “thank God the Rapture is coming so I won’t have to live to see whites become a minority” when they are confronted with the realities of race and changing demographics (usually with reference to what has already happened in South Africa). It is a very selfish and short-sighted point of view.
