Borzoi, Nick Mason, and Titus talk esoteric Ayran mysticism, interdimensional demons, the tragedy of America, Hollywood, and sexual abuse (and these are related) in Mulholland Drive as Poz Button turns 100.

When first arriving to Hollywood in the dream version of mulholland drive Naomi Watts is dressed the same as she is in the Twin Peaks the return, she is basically the same naive character too.
The hobo representing evil is also a vulgar representation of the products of hollywood, or any other cosmopolitan city, in the inequality of its citizens. The image of exploitation.
Loved the episode, I hope you can get Nick and Titus on more often
What kind of meta is this?
“Harring suffered a head wound from a .45 bullet when she was caught by stray fire from a driveby shooting at age 12”
This is who Lynch casts to get a head wound from a driveby accident involving gun.
Started listening then Titus told me not too if I haven’t seen the movie, so I stopped.
I’m conflicted. I don’t actually like watching movies.
The biggest giveaway that it was all a dream that Lynch included in the entire movie is the fact that a Hollywood director named “Adam Kesher” has all his bank accounts and credit cards erased from existence by an all-american guy (the cowboy) and not the other way around.
I have no idea what you guys are talking about!
I’m not watching the movie I’m just listening to this podcast.
Congrats on 100 and thank you for bringing back the Telepath intro.
It was a good first 20 minutes and I’m left wanting on the bob iger cancels an aryan mystic cult
You’re firing me?
Speaking of Twin Peaks, Twin Perfect did a 4 hour analysis of the series and its quite brilliant. I normally dont like shit like that, but these guys do amazing work. Highly recommend to any Poz Button listeners
Great subject matter and great panelists. Glad to hear Titus. Miss you, buddy.
Big ?
Congratulations
Where can I find this movie?
That nigga behind Winkies scared the shit out of me.

Off topic. Where can I find borzoi’s essay on humiliation? Congrats on 100 and hail victory.
On The American Sun under either “The Feasts of Shame” or “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry Broad”
I can’t post direct links, ofc.
Hadn’t seen this movie so I checked it out before listening. First impression is that the two leads have nice tits but the actual movie is an mostly artsy wankery.
I had the same take when I first saw it when I was a teenager. It was the first thing by Lynch I had ever seen and I had no idea what has going on. IMO it is not a good entry point if you want to get into Lynch. Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks and Wild at Heart are more straight forward and traditional in their narrative structure and are probably a better place to start.
I think I’ll give twin peaks a go. I’ve heard it referenced a few times irl so at least I’ll be able to talk to people about it in person.
So that was my impression of the film right after I finished age with watching it. I thought about it later on and than listened to the episode. I understood most of the message of the film and agree with a lot of what you guys said. Listening to the episode also made the tits comment I made funny in retrospect. Maybe I’ll watch the film again in a few years and it’ll got me, or it’ll grow on me over ratched, but for now I didn’t like the presentation of the ideas. Particularly the theatre scene. It could be… Read more »
With Lynch there is subtext under subtext. Everything means something. Lynchian is almost a language of it’s own. He’s an Aryan mystic. The Jungian influences are there.
I want a Poz Button on Lynch just making lamps. I saw it pre redpill and it was short so…I don’t want it bad enough to donate
I don’t want to watch more lamp videos by him and sorta wonder if he is making the lamp shades as well. Anyway, he is making mini lamps during this quarantine.

Congrats on 100! HH borther
No Von Flügel?
Yes, the old intro is back!
Killed me with that no cellphones, or negroes line. Congrats on 100 episodes and on my favorite uncle’s birthday no less.
Congrats on 100!
Is the intro a vaporwave edit of the storm king song “vapor lounge 2048”? The two don’t sound similar. Really curious because I love the intro track and want to find its source.
Original intro is the best intro. I remember when I was getting red pilled and I was consuming content like mad and hearing the intro of the Pozz button made me feel super excited for the barrage of new ideas. Top work Borzoi, you change the world and evolved many minds!
Congrats on 100 Borzoi
