I’ve been watching some good old fashioned union busting for the last few months. Some out of state labor was brought in, at increased expense, to do work the local has done for at least the last decade. Somehow the union rep maintained an aura of confusion about what was happening, real oscar quality stuff.
Now with reduced staff due to covid there’s talk about efficiency and what staffing is actually necessary. Utah, the land of the $10/hr job, is about to get poorer. I just hope the union has the spine to do union work.

It’s scary to watch a union rep behave so passive. I seriously doubt they have what it takes.
Most of them are entirely useless. If you even know who your rep is you’re ahead of many.
My one experience with unions was briefly working grocery stores. In Wisconsin you’re not required to be in a union. In Minnesota all grocery jobs are union. I got the exact same pay, and “benefits” package on both sides of the St.Croix, but had to pay union dues for the privilege in MN.
I posted about this several weeks back on the forum, it’s happening country wide right now.

I’ve redpilled my boss pretty good. Some of his favorite stuff, by far, have been the crazy survivor claims. I had him absolutely cracking up, listening to a clip from TDS episode 369. That’s the episode with the “Best doctor EVER” story about Mengele and the twins. So friggin funny, but infuriating at the same time.
