I’ve never had a prescription allergy pill make a bit of difference in my allergy symptoms. The only thing that ever worked was a homeopathic brand called BHI. You have to take it every hour or so, but it works.

There’s a lot of bullshit going around. Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic, typically used for ‘bacterial’ infections. It has NO benefit against a virus. Macrolides work by targeting features specific to these ‘bacteria’.
I spent 12 years of my life as a pharmacist in both hospital and community settings.
Just out of curiosity: is it possible the virus is also infecting bacteria in the body to help reproduce the virus inside the host?

I hate to say this and I wish it wasn’t so but if manufacturing comes back, immigration will go sky high. If they’ve convinced people that we need unlimited immigration now, imagine if we have millions of more jobs added. I’ve made my living working in manufacturing and I definitely agree that American companies should be making it here but not until we have a government that actually cares about us.
We can’t even get unions that care about us in manufacturing. All these companies would replace us with beaners if they were smart enough to run the machines.
Agreed. I live in NH which is around 95% white. I work for a large company that you’ve heard of and I can tell you the recent hires have been shall we say disproportionate to the population. It’s getting browner in there. These aren’t shitty jobs that white people don’t want. Everyone that works in manufacturing in that area wants to work there. I made 6 figures last year. The recent hires are having the expected effect.
They’ve been going through them like water here in PA as well. The office / management AA hires tend to stick due to the nature of the work coupled with mandatory diversity. However on the floor I would say it actively reflects our demographics. Vast majority white. Perhaps 2 blacks out of a hundred.

I think automation is overhyped. There are certainly jobs lost due to it but it’s not quite what people think. Not wanting to say what industry I work in I can tell you in my industry automation is only useful to a point. I work on equipment older than me and I don’t make a low tech product. The objection to eating horse meat is a holdover from the Church forbidding it as it was associated with pagan worship – at least in Northern Europe. I hear second and third hand accounts of people contracting the virus (testing positive), but only a few have died or even gotten more than a slight cough and fever, for that matter; and, those were like seriously ill prior. All the conflicting reports and super-charged political environment make for a very scary situation, and it’s shameful that politicians from both sides have used this to push political agendas.
