I just noticed that no one has asked Trump when he found out about the Virus, or done a Freedom of Information Act to find out when the White House was notified. How Curious.

Excellent show by the way.

I got laid off today due to the virus. So I was 23 financial crash 2008. Get through that real shit time for 5 years. Get student loans paid off etc. But now again laid off. Luckily I don’t have any debt with a house paid off. But how are people who got destroyed a decade ago going to come back from possibly being destroyed again. Now already people are working in there mid 60s what they going to do work until 80 since their retirement accounts have been halved? Sorry fam, I’ve been caught lying and have to issue a correction. When reading the article from the Forward, I said a “minyan” was a Jewish celebration. Here’s the correct definition of a “minyan.”

In Judaism, a minyan is the quorum of ten Jewish adults required for certain religious obligations. In more traditional streams of Judaism, only men may constitute a minyan; in more modern streams women are also counted. The most common activity requiring a minyan is public prayer.

Are schizophrenics statistically all that violent, tho? I balked somewhat when I heard that when you were recounting the story of your friend who worked for the department of mental health and schizophrenics missing appointment dates, losing their medication ‘and then going out and stabbing someone’. Perhaps you were referring to people on anti-psychotics with other conditions (who have a greater prevalency towards violence), or perhaps you are correct and I am wrong. I have a modicum of education in this area, and my understanding is the schizophrenia-violence relationship is over-emphasized or perhaps even a ‘myth’, statistically-speaking. At any rate,… Read more »

Thank you & this is a good clarification. I try to be as nuanced and accurate as I can, but I will happily accept the correction of my words being more fitting for people on anti-psychotics who have other, or multiple, conditions.

I think people on anti-psychotics is the key point here.

From your link: “As Torrey suggests in this issue, the field may have failed to adequately address violence in part due to our eagerness to reduce stigma by emphasizing that persons with schizophrenia are more likely to be victims than perpetrators.” Some of the literature indicates that they are more likely to be victims rather than perpetrators, but that’s not an indication of how likely they are to commit crimes. While the amount of crime schizophrenics perpetrate may be exaggerated from some sources (especially movies), they actually ARE more likely than the general population to commit a crime or other… Read more »

Just read a cloying, heart rending story by a rabbi about how a young joe Biden sneaked into a humble laundry common area to hear minyan on mrs greembaum whose tiny holocaust survivor apartment was too small for minyan. Hence joe is presidential material. The rabbi said minyan was 7 chosen adults and in this case was required for some sort of funeral rites. Of course, the holocaust and humbleness etc etc had to be woven into this, I am sure, imaginary story..

(Please don’t decide to hate me until you read my whole post!) The working theory for the (few?) honest people touting the “cure is worse than the disease” mantra seem to base their concern on the health trade-offs they assume would come with a depression, e.g., supply chain issues that could leave diabetics without medicine, cancer going undetected, etc. This is, arguably, an intuitive and reasonable theory. It made some sense to me, BUT IS IT TRUE? After the 2008-09 “Great Recession” the National Academy of Sciences did a study of mortality during the Great Depression (fyi, for James and… Read more »

Exactly. There’s also a question of how many new unemployment claims can be absorbed, even with the stimulus. 5M? 20M? The overall trend of big line in aggregate with other indices has been decidedly bad, i.e., you can’t look at a day or two of big line going up as “evidence” of a turnaround.

It’s not like they have a detonation problem, so you probably don’t *need* to, but it does prolong the life of the engine internals (burning valves is surprisingly common). Tucker Carlson has done a lot of good. Frankly, I never expected that much from him. If we get anything I’m always pleasantly surprised. Especially since he’s on Fox News. That’s been my attitude.

In good times, Tucker had good takes on a variety of issues. In crisis, he quickly pivoted to be the mouthpiece for tribal interests: Anti UBI, pro neoconservative interests on China, big line must go up no matter the cost, why won’t Twitter remove Chinese propaganda, etc.

When it mattered most, Tucker abandoned his good times rhetoric to shill for the prescribed narrative. Sounds like you’re OK with that.

I don’t know what to think. You can make the case that things aren’t as bad as predicted but maybe that’s because people panicked and hunkered down. A lot of the optimism could just be a cope. My older boomercon brother says the max number of fatalities will be 15,000 and it’ll all be over by July. But that could just be him wanting to get back to the stonk market and make up for the 200 grand in paper losses. All I know is I NEED TOILET PAPER!

In my opinion, we’re not far enough in to say, ‘it’s not as bad as predicted’, especially considering the time when the prediction was set to hit its mark may have been predicted too early. Throw in a lack of testing, lack of confirmed case reporting and probable misdiagnosed or undiagnosed cases slipping through, it seems as though this thing is still early and very much in play.

I never expected much from him. I don’t think he has the phenotypes of an ethnocentric person. So with him, it’s a happy surprise whenever he does anything based. No I don’t have a problem with him going anti-China for now, because while I don’t think we can fight any kind of Iran style war with China, I believe his rhetoric and the videos circulating on Twitter right now are dramatically increasing white ethnocentricism, particularly against Asians, which is actually a really good thing. Asian-White miscegenation is…..worth like 5 ftn deep dives, in my estimation of it’s significance. Now, that… Read more »

It still shocks me how many midwits on Facebook are convinced we are heading into evil socialism just because ordinary citizens are getting a government check to help for this month. (Yeah I know it’s not much help but it’s better than nothing). What angers me most is the fact that the people arguing against it are middle class or lower. They are so wrapped up in ‘muh capitalism’ vs socialism they don’t blink an eye at mega corporations helping themselves to our taxes but will sperg at the hint of UBI.

I’m noticing this what con-servative customers at work (still employed and with hazard pay essential worker) despite these same people moaning seconds before that they just got laid off and don’t have any money for rent or will starve if they pay it. Not a fortune, but head and shoulders above many in my area. The only real problem I have with… Read more »

ZOG showed us its mortal weakness with this event. Any disruption in the cycle of debt/loan creation and payment derails everything. It runs entirely on inertia. It will do anything to keep big line up.

This is how we can destroy the system and the parasites at the top of it. This is also how to force the system to the table for concessions, not the fake and gay political process.

This was the ultimate stress test and is the equivalent of the video game final boss, revealing an opening on its soft underbelly, vulnerable to attack.

Yeah I watched that Tucker segment with the Lt. Gov in Texas and I instantly translated it into “we must keep the Jewish bankers rich and in charge of everything.” Maintaining their status as parasite, getting a few points on every dollar in circulation has to be preserved.

I’ve sold timeshare so I can spot people who intentionally create a narrative that sounds plausible that makes you feel so good, to justify the pain, either dying of ChiComFlu or paying $30k to own a maintenance fee every year.

I think it’s worse than the flu, but it’s not a pandemic. I’m in “It’s Not a Pandemic Bro” camp. I don’t want anyone to strawman me. “It’s not a pandemic bro, but it’s also a lot worse than the flu bro.” I’m firmly in that camp, and always was. I’m basically a Big Brained Centrist on this one. I did not have a bunker, or an ammunition depot or even a carrot farm before the pan the outbreak. Before the outbreak broke out. Not sure about hygiene, but I did notice that the North of Italy was hit the hardest, around the area of Lombardy. This is the area of the former Italian Minister of the Interior, Matteo Salvini, also known as the poster child for migrant resistance. Also, note that Iran seems to be disproportionately affected as well.
