I used to listen to him after I got off graveyard shift driving home. I loved him at first because he pointed out (this was in the 1990s) how fake the Democrats were and how they focused on symbolism over substance. I remember when Rush was your alternative media. I used to listen regularly, but got frustrated that he talked about stuff I didn’t care about—like why billionaires needed more tax cuts—and he didn’t talk much about stuff I did care about—like gun rights. We really went our separate ways during the Dubya regime. I still listened, but it was more out of a dearth of content. There were a few early podcasts worth listening to, but no smartphones to stream with. We’re spoiled for choice with TRS and all the other great content being put out today.

California as of 3-15-2020 has 504 schools closed for two to four weeks. My 3 oldest grandsons high school is closed till 4-13 while my other grandson’s middle school is closed till 4-13. IL schools are closed till the end of the month starting on Tuesday. They are going Monday to get the schools plan for learning online till they decide to reopen.
I think the casinos are also closed in IL at least northern Illinois.
